whats a cjl mount go to?
We had some kindling to cut up today so I figured it was a good time to grab the S25. This was the second saw i re-built, its also a newer model with electronic ign. I did the carb, fuel lines, filters, and intake gasket under the reed. I gave the orig 16" bar to my buddy with his S25 cause i thought i had a new one that would fit, of course it was for the 'bigger' poulans and didnt fit. So for now its wearing a 14" with 3/8 lp. Wow this saw rips. I had in some 4'' oak and it just digs in, i need to get it in bigger wood! Here it is with my partner next to it.

Unreal collection!!!!!, the 245`s cought my eye !!, i have the 245a in a dayton i purchased from a guy back in the early eightys and run like a champ until last week, getting ready to go thru it and i need a few parts, im looking for the side fly wheel and flywheel cover and a piston do you have any parts or could you guide me in the right direction ?Since it was so nice here today, I was in the back of the shop putting some things away and I thought I would drag all the Poulans out in the daylight to take a photo of them all together since I have had several request to do so.
Bout worked up a sweat, not really realizing how they accumulate.
So here they are, there all runners except the 245 in the front row which is the next Poulan project.

Can anyone help me identify this bar, as to which one it actually is? There is no pic with the add, just a number, and I havn't been smart enough to find it on the parts lists I have. Heres the ebay link, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300344756342&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Thanks, Gregg
That part # number on the parts lookup that I use actually shows several instances of low kickback chain, not a bar. Hard to say which is correct or if he copied part number incorrectly. Seems here that the risks outweigh the reward since the price is high and his feedback rating is less than stellar. Some of his feedback reflects slow shipping and items that are aftermarket when the buyer was expecting an OEM part. You might contact him with your email address to see if he can provide additional info and pic. If you'll PM me what saw you need the bar for, I'll see if I can help.
Steve
Greg, a quick look by me this morning shows what ever that bar is, it is obsolete.
Is $35 a good price on a 20" bar? I guess it would depend if it was a laminate, a control tip, a power match or a Windsor wouldn't it.
Sorry but I have little patiance for a seller like that, that cannot post a picture.
If you know what your looking for you can stumble on a deal or two as I just got a Oregon Power match 20" bar for like $12 shipped.
It says Redmax on it and probably no one knew what it fit, but it is indeed a D176 Poulan/Echo mount bar.
Just realized there are two Dayton saws in the picture !!!!

I wish I could fix the air leak in mine
I only have 1 spare 245 piston right now, but it is probably going into the 245 in the front row soon. If you watch there was a seller on ebay selling gasket sets pretty right. If they only have the 306 sets listed, grab one of them as they have pretty much all you need including the crank seals.
I'm going to PM you some info.
That Dayton in the back row is a 245 and the smaller one in front is a S25CVA.
Did you find where it is?
