For Sale is a NOS GENUINE Stihl 051 Top End Kit.

Here's the story behind this...

My local dealer who is a good man and has been in business since 1980 had purchased this kit 15-20 years ago in order to repair a customers saw. The customer backed out of the deal and therefore it has been sitting on his shelf collecting dust for years.


This thing is still in the original box and in a sealed bag inside the box. New condition!

Piston, cylinder, rings, wrist pin and bearing.

He asked me today if I could try and sell it for him.

Stihl List price is $328, and is still available.

I'm offering it out there for $250 shipped, no trades.

I'm also going to drop out a little clarification here, as I've been asked this question...


TS510 is a 52mm top end, the 760 is a 58mm top end, but they are fully interchangeable according to MediaCat.

Although the two saws look similar in pictures they are completely different in overall dimensions.

They are not interchangeable with one another.

Only top ends that will fit on an 041 is the standard 041 and the 041 Super, I believe.
