Oddball sprocket wins race

Just went up against a guy with an 066 that has .325 chain and a 11 tooth drive sprocket that he found on an old junk saw either a pioneer or poullan and it fit on the 066 I can't even touch the chain speed can any one help identify this sprocket. This has drove me crazy I just got to find one

With that big sprocket and the lower cutting resistance of .325 chain, this saw should rock !!! Rich.

Does anyone currently make racing sprockets in .325?

the biggest problem i have found with running those big rims is keeping the chain on the bar. they have a habit of throwing the chain off unless the bar has a big heel(no,not lambert). run the bar as close to the rim as possible. marty

Way to go Sawyer been telling these guys that 325 has potential, use to be only 1/2 pitch, then 404, now 3/8, square filed 325 more teeth per inch, narrow kerf, good ctting chain, but you got to beat'em to make'em believe.Jon
