Yep, i found that out. Mine's a 95. I used to be ASE certified. But that was back in the 70's. Technology has changed a tiny bit since then.^ not sure what year you have, but since mid 80's ford oil pressure gauges are fake.
It's not a real pressure sender, just a switch. Once the system hits 7 psi, it moves the gauge.

I had a 96 f150 lariat with the 5.4L Triton engine. I had major issues with the first engine at 90k miles. Cam phasers and cam bearings shot. Warranty company replaced it with a used engine that has 70k miles on it. I put 10k miles on it and cam phasers went out, plugged cat converters, and chain tensioners blew oil gaskets.Yep, i found that out. Mine's a 95. I used to be ASE certified.
