Late 50's trim crew. I believe this is the same model chipper I have. The gas tank sat atop the motor, right above the muffler! There is a small tool box where they put the gas tanks on todays models.
 
power saw from late 30's... kinda cool! Can you guess who the foreman is..... My guess is the guy in the white shirt, playing pocket pool!

40's spray truck. I got these from the Asplundh website if anyone cares.
 
Great pics, I have to laugh at the metal ladder near the power lines, no cones around the truck in the street, No PPE at all on any workers, A safety officers dream come true:) But it looks like they were all having fun;)
 
That older model chipper is very much like the drum chippers of today, just a little bit different and much older. They havent changed all that much since they were introduced many years ago.
