Good evening everyone.
As the topic title indicates, rcentemente bought a chain saw Oleo-Mac brand, model 999. As was unaware of the brand, come this way to ask your views on the machine in question.
It is a good buy or not?
I thank your opinion.

It is a strong running 100cc saw. I don't know how well you can find parts for it. In the chainsaw stickes section there is a thread on this brand of saw. It has been known as Olympk, Efco, Oleomac, and may be some other names as well. It is an Italian made saw.

Thank you. Yes i have researched something about this chainsaw, but taking the feedback from people with experience, it is much better.

A tough well performing saw may find it's heavier than the big 2 brands but will certainly hold it' own performance wise with comparable size saws, spares could be a bit of a wait & see, regarding non consumable spares. Italian Ebay lists parts on occasions. If you are patient you can usually obtain the parts you require, although I'm afraid it's not just a flit down to your friendly dealer

Mine is not the 999F as what's in the pictures, mine is 999.
I think the differences are only 2 air filter that the 999F is very big and mine is small and the other difference is that my not have the chain brake :(

I bought this chainsaw because sometimes need to cut palm trees infected with Rhynchophorus ferrugineus.
I have worked with a 365SP husqvarna who is the father of my partner, but I thought I was buying a chainsaw and chose what seemed to me more powerful.
I'm nothing displeased with him, has power as I like, is easy to maintain, let's see if using I fed him, but I do not think.
;)
