I read all the specs and they looked great. I had no idea there existed a rope that was hollow on the inside like the chinese handcuff pieces
you put on your fingers.
I bought 300 ft because I wanted to be able to route from the tree through two pulleys for a 3 to 1 mechanical advantage and finally to connect
to my manual "more power" winch.metal hook. I have not yet figured out how that connection is best made but today I ordered a 50 KN figure 8
descender tool that I might be able to connect the tree pull line to and then just hook the winch steel hook to it. The way the rope acts like a hollow
tube, I have my doubts about how well it will run through pulleys. even though the rope ordered is 1/2 inch it measures more like 3/4" in the loose
state. Do you think Tenex will pull through pulleys ( off road snatch block) that have max 1/2" clearance ?
