oregon bar question

I have an oregon double guard .325 bar. number on the bar is 160pxbk041 be I originally bought this bar for a shidiawia 500 saw. but it is not working right now, and since the bar and chain are new i thought i would see if it would work on my poulan 2900 farmhand. So does any one know if this bar will fit my poulan 2900??

many ways to skin that cat once u gotim caught.. .. i guess if anything i mite be able to say.. im pretty good at that.
we use to have a phrase for it. but it slips my mind.

Well the stud match, the tensioner match, it is a tad bit smaller over a;ll on the engine end, my only concern is the oil hole. The hole on the old bar is slightly taller toward the bar groove so you can see the entire oiler slot and when you put on the bar in question everything fits, and you can see some of the oil groove throughe the hole, looks like enough to get oil to the bar. So should i try it and just watch to make sure it oils right?? or what??
