The D196 is an old Homelite mount, but it fits several older Jonsereds as well - with maybe some filing inside the slot.....

hard nose bar or roller

Would you want to sell one or two of those? I think they fit HOmelite C series, and the xp1000, and 1020. I think it would be a .404 bar if I'm right?
I'd really be interested in getting one or two if it's a roller tip, and fits the C series Homelites! Please let me know! My number is 715-281-7989. Thanks.

not this bar this bar is a 3/8" pitch .050 gauge what im going to do is figure out how to put these chain bars on our site i may be changing some things around and placing oregon bars on oregon category and under each type of bar such as power match pro. laser tip plus pro and so on then under them headings will be the manufacture name of the saw and that is where the bars will be located and will say the model #s etc.

thats the only way i know how to do this i may start on it tonight and get the outline on how i want it to look but i will call you and give you the info you need for the other bar you are seeking thanks

Hey guys,

Just an FYI:

I have dealt with Calvin some time ago (before he was a sponser here)

I got some hard to find NOS Homelite parts at really great prices.

The service was second to none & the shipping charges were not inflated.

Overall, it was an excellent experience & I would not hesitate doing business with him again.

Mike

Do you have any roller nose bars? I don't mean the roller bearing tip like the newer oregons, BG, windsor, etc.

I mean the old bars with the round wheel on the end.

If so, please pm or call me 330-612-2262.

Thanks

Definately old stock - are those older replacement tips still availiable?

The tip is not a roller one, but a sprocket one.

does anyone use them sprocket tips any more ?

Sprocket tips is what most saws come with, and most people use.

Roller tips mostly are a thing of the past - but sought-after for chainsaw racing.

The sprocket tip in the picture is an old style Oregon, not the current one.

To call sprocket tips for roller tips is a pretty common mistake, but they are totally different.......

thats good to know that sprocket tips are popular now if you can give me some picture what a roller tip looks like i can check my stock here cause i have chain bars that i dont even know what they go to so if i had a picture of a roller tip i may compare it

Calvin,

Sent you a PM.

SawTroll,

Those tips have to be found NOS. I don't think they're all that uncommon, though. I just dug one out of my parts box. I see them on Ebay too.
