Ummmmm my neighbors name was Dave , his dad had a huge farm ..... He sniffed anything he could fine and went and ran equipment ! For real .

Ya top climber is an A climber/Journeyman.. Different companies call it different names..Top climber is the ability to do all task in a tree unassisted.

Its not about being hardcore. Its about being smart and going home everyday. If i remember right from my ehap class, being struck in the head is one of the highest causes of death in the tree industry.

I use a hardhat everyday at work all the time..The one time I didn't it was a small oak tree I just climbed up and notched the top out of it for a family member.. I agree we should always wear are PPE on or off the job.. You the one that started preaching chief
