what?.............you were thinking gold?; well these are, to most of us. pic is what was left of a large silver maple I scrounged recently; had to make cookies, flop them on the ground and make four noodle cuts like a pizza and wedge and maul into eighths so I could wheelbarrow to the trailer as this was in a backyard with no vehicle access. Made 48 of those eighths and each of those will be split two more times. I apologize for not placing in the scrounging firewood thread, but felt like living on the edge today.
