Too bad, must be the site or the service provider. nothing else I can do from here.
Is that like factory leather on the bottom of the clutch cover? Looks so good it gives me chills.

Nice saw! I didn't do to bad for guessing from an old picture of one. That saw of P35's makes me want to bolt some old conveyor belt to the bottom of it for class. Thanks Lou. I might give that a try but first I think maybe try to find out why some sites are holding my picts hostage.
That saw is of the darkest of green colors, earlier saws had a much lighter green. I have seen repaints ranging from black to gun metal grey and they all looked good, others were all red or blue, those looked totally out of place.Nice saw! Each model has a different top cover, you show me a cover and I can tell you what saw it came from but because the top covers are somewhat interchangeable then a saw cannot be identified really accurately by just the top cover. The 600 and 610 have a latch type holdown on rear of the cover. The 620, 620S and 650 use a bolt to hold down the cover, mounted at the rear . Each model has a different tree on it.How can I tell if it's a 600 or 650? Cools saws there.
Was outboard marine before Pioneer?
Outboard Marine was in business making outboards when IEL was building chainsaws in Vancouver. OMC bought out IEL and moved production over to Ontario, they renamed the product line Pioneer Chainsaws and began production in Peterborough. IEL had used the name Pioneer name on the model RA when they were still in Vancouver but the real Pioneer saws began over in Ontario.
130 psi and up is pretty good. See if you can pull the muffler and look at the piston. Nothing really tricky about this model or other p series really.Hi - I'm going to be looking at a P45 for sale locally, what's good compression for this saw and is there anything else to look out for on this model? Thanks!
