Trimmed explained it in the beg for rep thread. Said somethin about they threw in 2 special random reps, one takes all your rep away(might've happened to sawin) and the other is the "good witch" that gives you a bunch(I'm assuming I got that).

It's hard without a hone. I'd like to not buy a hone since I'll probably only use it on this saw for now and not plannin on another for awhile(maybe 2 months if I'm lucky:hmm3grin2orange: ) It all depends because I need money for the car in the sig and a honda cb450 motorcycle.

Evan

So keep your cylinders!

how long did that piston sit in the acid bath
Well a good 30 minutes while I was home and then left it for about a hour and a half. By the time I got back it had run out of acid. It was on a stack of brick that were on a concrete pad so it couldn't kill grass or anything. The orange juice container was partially melted from the heat from the reaction. I had put the acid in an aluminum/tin can and it started to react with that so I dumped it in the nearest thing I could find before it melted through the can.

Just want to make sure that we understand the chemistry here:

Al + HCl = AlCl3 + H2 + heat

I'm my youth, we used to throw Al foil into HCl and cap it off with a balloon. The balloon was full of hydrogen. Tie it off with a string (fuse), light and let it go. "Hindenberg Bombs"
