please help...flywheel nut just spins and wont come off

I like the sound of that,I can't picture how you mean though(its me,I know:) )Is the punch thicker than the drilled hole?I can't picture when you say use as a wedge... Scuse my dumb moment!

Grind it with a die grinder or dremel not 100 percent through just leave a little room for error so you dont hit the crank then knock it loose with a chisel.

Picture a tapered punch with a tip just small enough to enter the drilled hole. Now grind opposite sides of this punch so the sides are thinned down to the diameter of the tip. Position the punch in the hole so that the wider tapered sides are parallel to the flat side of the nut. This will let the punch push the nut open when driven into the drilled hole.
