This is mainly to taunt the Callyfornians. It was so warm today that The Used Dog had to go cool off in his swimming pool and I got warm working on chipping away at the maple in the backyard. If this keeps up, we may have to go into hootowl for the New Year! :biggrinbounce2:

I slant cut because it is easier to split on my uneven ground.:monkey:

:sucks: Besides, at least I don't have moss growing in the back of my pickup like somebody I could name. Somebody from Randle. Female. Government employee. With LOTS of moss. If moss on vehicles was a cash crop you could retire early.

I would have answered sooner but I've been falling timber for a guy down the road. Old guy, big beard, long hair, has several sons. He's building a boat. A really big boat. I mean REALLY big. His kids are gathering up a lot of animals, two by two. Wonder what's up?

Hey now, we are having a mild and sunny California day, first one in many days. We sure needed some drain off time, 3 inches shy of 6 feet of rain for the year. More rain for Fryday.

We are gettin a little wet with these storms snow is the big plus though got alot above 7K feet. (10 feet plus). I have been wondering about the funny weather we have been getting around the northern hemisphere and I surfed onto a site that is kinda interesting about how the suns storm activity have slowed down over the last couple of years and we are starting to see the beginning of a mini ice age. Here is the link

Interesting thing is look at the date when that prediction was made.

I wonder how our forests will need to be managed for cold weather instead of hot dry conditions that we are all being led to believe and write our NEPA documents to. I think the FS jumped onto the global warming bandwagon too fast. But the fires we were getting and everything else was pointing in that direction.

Sorry for the nerdy science stuff but I am a weather junky.

Sounds like the usual weather will start back up tomorrow. I'll keep my Happy Lite and make the coffee strong again, but with lots of hot cocoa mixed in.

I actually thought about washing the Used Dog today! He got overheated and had to flop in his swimming pool.

Yeah I think the suns activity has way more to do with our weather than has been let on lately.
And volcanoes can sure cool things off in a hurry.
