Point Gap

Can someone please tell me what the point gap is supposed to be on an 015AV Stihl saw. I have heard anywhere from as long as they open to .008. Seems to be based on opinion from everyone I have talked to. Help please!!

Stihl sets their points in metric so it equals roughly .016.

From the 015 service manual' breaker point gap 0.35-0.4 mm or .014-.016 in. Fiash had it right, and didn't have to look it up.

Thank You for the info. I considered the solid state ignition and decided to go back with point for now. I appreciate all of the help.
