I agree with previous statement great video would be better with no music. Great work with the helmet cam. That's the first helmet cam vid I've seen on here very nice.

Nice job! Music didn't bother me. Few questions. What kind of Poplar was it? Bark looked like Red Maple that we have here. What kind of gloves were you wearing? My hands are like a woman's, I wear gloves doing everything . I used to tough it out and have hands as rough as any ones, I feel i am smarter now. Do you let your saw hang or do you hook it back to the saddle after every cut? I have always hooked mine back and admit it sucks when your in a bind but I see guys just dropping the saw and let it hang. I guess that's ok but it seems hard on the saw to be dragged around over limbs. Not criticizing you, the job looked good!!

Nice job Nails. Nice and smooth removal. Very good rope work on the ground.

Music was great for me. I love Credence.

B-Edwards, I hook my saw to my saddle when I move through the canopy but let it hand on the lanyard when I work the spar or a stationary area. Being able to let it hang on the lanyard and clip it to your saddle is the best of both worlds.

The saw was clipped back to my saddle after every cut, that's what I do 90%of the time. The gloves are Perfect Fit 375's, good warm weather gloves, thin and durable.

I think the tree was a Large Tooth Popple or Populus Grandidentata, not really a Poplar I guess, but an Aspen. Get it?:monkey: To add to that confusion we call it a Yellow Popple around here.
