I hate that!Yep it was horrible
From what I can see your right on top of it. I think you would be fine with a 45 ton, 55 would be better. 55 ton should be able to take those picks with the boom upright right off the side of the truck. What kind of a crane would it take to rig this down in 12,000 lb sections? I imagine the cost would be high and I have no crane rigging experience... i wish i knew the cost and what i needed for a crane
Possibly the last 20-30' of trunk. I am worried abou shockwave demolishing old building thoughDont know ,but call a Crane company. Can you drop any big pieces whats under it?
Well for that price i'm sure you could get a Crane or some help and still profit.I have had diarrhea and been almost unable to sleep since partner backed out. Already had to extend contract time. When this one is done Im laying off a while. Body is too beat for this.
I did a few poplars like that years ago for nashua nh. Took a couple days just flipping 5 ft pieces offAlmost identical to poplar by my log weight calculator
The main trunk runs over old building Im worried the shock would crumble the wallsMan that's a big mf tree for city. If stuck on roping down that's gonna be like 5ft maybe 6ft chunks. Can you block the drop area and just flip chunks down

Keep in mind that your time savings on rigging goes far.
You can climb and rig, you can work with a crane. Piece of cake compared to what your doing.
Prices vary, but you’ll have it down to the butt log in a day.
Ok yes it definitely wouldThe main trunk runs over old building Im worried the shock would crumble the walls
My porta wrap guy I had for a day and a half knocked a cinder block outta the top.... gotta put it back but the wall was already cracked it took zero force. It was just sitting there. I still shid a brickOk yes it definitely would

We will never do another job together. I love him and have no hard feelings but the amount of hell I been through because of this is not tolerable. On another note, ditch the partner. For a guy to bail on you on a job like this, well that’s just too much.
Bad partners are like bad wives, they cost you money and suck you dry!
Hopefully he was there long enough to get some of that ivy on his sack!!

I would have died before I bailed on
