Porta-Wrap troubles....rigging line bound up.

I was dropping 400-600 lb chunks of Norway spruce last week on half inch rigging line. My groundie had four wraps to hold and flipped two off to lower. I don't think he used the pins once to lock the line. I was a little pissed cause he was shakin the hell out of me and not letting it run. I am buying the large POW to help eliminate all the ques.
