This is a 660 that I ported The cut was in white pine with a 50 inch cannon bar with skip chisel chain I filed

That's a pretty thick cookie you're cutting off that log. You might want to try cutting them a little thinner so you can get more cookies per log.:)

By the way, that is a fast saw!

Would you divulge exactly what you did to this saw and how you accomplished it? That looked great. Wish my milling saw would hold RPM'S like that.

I like the way it held its rpms too. Especially with a bar that long and a trunk that thick. Good chain no doubt.

MacDaddy - was that white pine sound? I know they can get pretty punky on the butt, and eventualy clear up. White pine is soft - I just don't think there is any way a 660 with a 50" bar could pull those RPMs is solid wood regardless how modded it is.

Not trying to sound like a jerk off, I think it is punky... If not then you should start modding saws and hand filing chains for a living.

Thats why Im so far up the tree to get to the solid part its was still kinda green The saw runs very strong its fully ported (exhaust, transfers, intake, and rechambered)Also the chain cuts great Im NOT going to say mine is better than anybodys chain. But I will say I like it! I WONT say my saw runs any better than the other builders on the site. But I like it! And I have built some saws for people. But I make my money with my paving company so I only do it as a hobby.:chainsaw:

Then I must say: Congratulations, because it is pretty impressive. I am extremely pleased with my stuff, but I only run a 32". Again, nice job.
