You have to know which carburetor you have, otherwise it makes not much sense.

True, but the Official Religious Reference guide printed in Germany that Ray posted to me has both carbs listed and they have the same default setting (which is what I was after). 1 turn L, 3/4 turn H. Very typical for Stihl. There is a slight difference between the two carbs with the settings if the limiter caps are removed. I would never remove a limiter cap now, would I? (hand over heart). Why, of course I would!
