Poulan 3000/3300/3450 Same carb?

Does anyone know if the Poulan 3000/3300/3450 use the same Walbro HDA carb?

The Poulan 2800,3000,3300 series used a HDA-49 and the 3450,3750 used a HDA-137 or 164. The HDA-49 has a smaller venturi.

3300 or 3450

I got a 3300 and a 3450 on ebay, both have good crankcase and top ends. The covers were not in great shape, only model info was the clutch cover of the 3300. I am not sure if either saw was labeled right. What defines the 3300 from the 3450?

The 3450 crankcase will be a little wider than the 3300.

3450 hda 52

I noticed the choke lever on my 3450 does not fit right, I see that whoever had it did some creative bending of the choke pull knob. I see that the carb is an HDA 52. Any idea what the 52 would fit?

Why not rebuild the HDA 49 they come with or buy one of those. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/repair-kit-p-833358.html

Never had a 49 fail to take to a rebuild kit and I have done many of these things.

What is the issue?

Positive the carb and not hooked lines up wrong or kit in wrong? Yes seen it many times when brought to me to fix.

Changed all line new plug new carburetor kit

Man I wish I had that on the bench to figure out for ya. Love troubleshooting. Just hard to do over net.

Could be something simple as tune. Could be low psi etc. Torn boot.

I put a new walbro on it starred rite up ran fine so it the carburetor
