This is a nice 1997 Poulan 3450 that I recently picked up. The saw starts and runs as it should but I have not put it in any wood. Cosmetically it is in good shape, the only issues I can find with it are that the chain adjuster is missing and the starter rope is beginning to fray. As the picture shows, the P&C are in good shape and it is pumping 175+ PSI on my gauge. Plenty of tooth left on the chain, this just needs a new owner with wood to cut. It is a 3.3 CI saw and currently is carrying an 18” bar. Price is $140 plus the ride to your door from 40509.

Looks like the filter design on that is descent?

Is my price too cheap? After running 3400's for over 30 years I was surprised by the compression reading.

It's a fair price. They go for a bit more on ebay...........................but that's ebay. I'm surprised nobody's bit yet. There was a hell of a run of 3450/PP330 saws on feebay over the last several months. Two or three DOZEN complete saws at least. Could be that after us Poulan yahoos talked them up (as we had with the big CounterVibes and the P-60/655 series), everybody that got riled up by us went and bought 'em a saw on ebay. I think you just missed the 'wave'....

That compression reading isn't surprising for a healthy 3450. IIRC that's about what my PP330 blew before I did a base gasket delete. One thing that may be holding folks back is that this is an earlier, and therefore non-chainbrake saw.
