I bought a used "Dead" Poulan Pro chainsaw model PP4620AVHD at my local chainsaw dealer last month. ($20) My son and three other students are doing an analysis on it in one of their Mechanical Engineering classes at Oregon State University. They need to find out the Manufacturers Brake horsepower rating and associated rpms for the chainsaw.
Does anyone out there know the Brake HP and RPMs for this saw? Poulan hasn't responded to the group's email messages other than very basic information about the saw.
It is 46cc / 2.8 Cubic Inch engine, Max RPM 13,500.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. their analysis method has made the saw permanently "terminal" ;>)
