Hi all. Anyone have any idea who might have manufactured a POWER PRUNER model 1260. The power head says TT24A Kioritz corp , 021680 i imagine is a date code. When I look parts up it defaults to ECHO but nothing at all on TT24A. That’s the only tag and that’s on the engine. The model 1260 is on the extendable pole portion and says Power Pruner. I thought maybe Schindaiwa? My son picked it up at a flea market but it’s a Chinese carb for certain. Zama already said it’s not one of there’s i sent a pic in. Walbro just ignored me lol. If anyone could help identify which carb belongs in it I’d be grateful. I think. It’s supposed to be a Walbro WT-424 but I’ve been wrong more than right in this life. Thanks to all IMG_3782.pngIMG_3782.png

Engine was made by echo, echo later bought power purner.
Look up echo gt2400 for engine related parts I think.

Yes. Power Pruner was the market leader for extendable chainsaws "on poles". I still have parts to make two whole units. They also made a five foot extension that put that machine far beyound anything else with an engine.

To this day, I still like the durability and handling better than any other brands I have tried, although they were not as powerful as the newer Stihls.

They also made a pruning attachment for tall bushes that worked somewhat like a sidewalk edger. It was the best bush pruner I have ever used, and could cut clean through a 1" diameter branch. Even thicker, if you had patience. Replacement blades have become impossible to find after Echo bought the brand, however.

I used to be a dealer for them, too.

BTW: the interlocking splines on the shafts are kinda touchy to keep assembled correctly, and the cones at the end are prone to stripping the splines. Make SURE that the cutter head is fully inserted onto the shaft and that all the shaft assembly has no air gaps. Those internal parts are tricky to assemble, and might not be available from Echo.

Pdqdl. So that attachment for pruning is no longer to be had?? Right now I’m fighting this carb. Tomorrow I’m gonna leak check it. But one thing i did notice and I’m hoping I’m right is when pulling to start. Hard hard real easy real easy no start then it floods. Get a few putts at times. Tuned it lean putt putt. I’m pretty sure the copy carb is beat. I ordered an echo wt-424. Hopefully. That’s part of the fix. I think the flooding makes pulling easy hence screws with compression. I got her stuck the other day since I’m disabled. I shouldn’t an even tried with my heart but i was try a test it on a limb and think the chain mighta been loose. I’ll go over her thoroughly to orrow.
