I think most people are missing my point here. The truth is, I really don't care what SM has or doesn't have. I honestly hope he has these things and that he can use them to make good money. At his age, with this kind of equipment inventory and even the slightest modicum of common sense and intelligence, he'll be better off than most of us by the time he's 30.
What I am saying is that SM's credibility problem is his alone. I'm not the only person here who's read his initial claims, then his edited secondary claims, then his justifications, retractions, and temper tantrums, not to mention having to endure yet another's overuse of the "Smilies". He's edited more of his posts than all AS members in summary. None of this is new, it's just that it's now boiled to the surface. It's not AS against SM, or DB against SM, it's SM against himself. No one has asked him to leave. No one has threatened him. In fact, I submit that he knows very well why these issues are being called out and is expressing his anger because now he knows that others have seen through at least some of the facade. How else can he save face?
Whether the claims are true or not is not the issue; it's whether people believe that they are true on his word alone. SM can have all of the best equipment that money can buy, but if his word is no good then he will ultimately fail at both business and a fulfilling life. In many cases, it's not what one says but how they say it (or for what reason they say it) that matters.
I'll close by saying that while I have nothing against a motivated young man working hard to make a good life for himself, he'd make the journey a helluva lot easier by putting his word at the top of the priority list. Whether he likes me or not is immaterial.
