Looking to add another set of chaps & ear muffs. I'm going by the Stihl dealership this weekend but wanted to see if you guys like any other brands as good as the Stihl chaps or ear protection?

I agree, u can also wait until the end of the year close outs, the Vermeer here had their chaps marked down to 50 bucks to make room for the new stuff. Dont EVER go to "Safety" store. They mark up, gotta be 200%! Was going to buy a box of earplugs, they wanted $1.05 per set! With no break on buying a box!

I buy bandaids and ear-plugs bulk, online.

My boss provides Forester wrap-around chaps, they seem to hold up very well. Some of the guys complain about the weight, but I don't notice it. I have seen a couple sets cut with none passing through. There's nothing like picking kevlar fibers out of a clutch drum bearing, but it's better than the alternative.
