Pro Mac 610 saws

What a nice forum! I'm so glad to have stumbled upon all of the information here! Hopefully someone here can help me with my delimma....

I'm looking for parts for my McCulloch Pro Mac 610. After doing some internet research, I learned that McCulloch sold off in 2003. Now, I can't find parts! Does anyone have a parts list for this saw? And, who sells the parts now? I hate to see this saw go to waste over one part! It runs great and is a true workhorse. The part I need is the emergency stop bar - the big plastic bar closest to the chain.

Well, parts for the old Macs are tough to find. Nobody I know of sells the parts. But, I was looking on Ebay today in the MAC section and there are many parts being sold right now so I'd check that out ..

Is the "hand guard" the part you need???

I've got a 655 & Monkey Wards 610 clone. He has parts saws he strips for used parts. I think he buys other dealers Mac NOS parts also, I got a new oil pump from him.

No prob ... I keep trying to find parts for my Dads Pro Mac 700 so I'm always looking on ebay .. Good timing I guess.

I have a line on several of these saws. They are parts saws with little compression but appear to be complete or nearly so. PM me if you are interested.
