I have a broken drive shaft on the feed roller. It broke next to the roller on the left side.Do I need to remove the 4 flat head screws on the ends of the roller to remove the shaft, or does it just slide out, provided it's not frozen??? It's a Pro-Mark ten

I think the pro mark design was the shafts welded to the side plate that is bolted to the side of the feed wheel center section. So you will have to remove the plate you are talking about. It is more like a stub shaft on each side of the feed wheel it is not continuous through the feed wheel.

You can try some heat if you have a torch and penetrating oil. Second alternative is to use a punch that is the same size as the bolt and hit it with a hammer to loosen up the rust.
