Greetings!
I have a problem with my chainsaw Homelite XL 923. It was brought to my family by my grandfather in 1968 and it was running perfectly for almost 40 years. One day it just went crazy. It's running on full throttle all the time. I know that the problem is not the carburetor, because I had it cleaned up and fixed by a mechanic for old chainsaws. Since I remember we were using 50:1 fuel oil mixture. Does anyone have any clue what the problem might be?
I really want to repair it because it's a powerfull chainsaw and we would need something like that right now
Please help.
(P.S. I'm sorry for my english, I'm from Slovenia..)
