Question about pressure testing

You fellas pressure test the crankcase, and pull vacuum for a test through the spark plug hole right? Piston in the saw also?

Watched lake do it today connection thru carb flange. Compression test thru spark plug hole.

Didn't know for sure if that was what was being done, and then read the post about Homemade Pressure Tester, and there it was in plain sight. Duuuhhh:help:

You can do it though the spark plug hole if you move the piston down... and block off the carb/impulse and muffler, but it's usually done though the carb adapter or the exhaust. Really doesn't matter - you just need the right adapters.
