Hello guys I'm new here and new to the owning a tree service company. I just bought the husq 455 rancher stihl 192t , buckingham spikes, harness and buckstraps. I know I need to get the hard hat and I'm starting out slow working twards a nice chipper bucket truck. But what my question is what is the vital equipment I need to climb and pull myself into the tree and be safe. Such as pulleys and what ever

So what's your level of tree climbing experience?

Iv always been good at rock climbing and such. I just want to know the proper gear I need to do the climbing smooth and effortless. I like to be professional with all of my work if I'm not comfortable doing something I don't do it

Rock climbing? Do you understand tree biology and the effects of pruning? If you really want to be professional like you say, hire a real tree guy. Climbing is only a part of it, knowing how a tree reacts to pruning is part also. Should of posted in the 101 forum.

I think he needs to be broken in by making someone else a bunch of money, as a climbing arborist.. if he wants to be a "real professional", that is..

But then, times are changing I guess.

Ya right! We all know you knocking them bad girls down after a day of hard core crane work! Lmfao..

Us crane queens are a bit more sophisticated than your average bud swilling bucket bunny. lol You just wouldn't understand.

Wow, what a de-rail. Probably scared the guy off. I am waiting for LXT to jump in! :hmm3grin2orange:
Jeff

I'm pretty sure I've seen that movie before. Was hoping for something different this time. How's the turtle, Jeffers?

Funny, he is out but is not moving from the spot he is at. With the sun so low to the south, it has been in the low sixties here and did not think he would be seen for awhile. Think he is trying to get warm before he heads back down. I'm not gonna bother him unless he comes to the back door.
