rain and more rain

the last three years we in the UK have had record wet winters,and we have all lost so many days due to the weather..now were getting wet springs/summers as well so more lost time ,so far this week we have had 3 days of heavey rain ,last week was also a wash out


whilst i don't mind working on the ground in the wet ,i hate working a loft in the rain plus i think climbing in heavey rain is dangerous..with so many lost days due to the weather meaning a loss of earnings i'm trying to think of ways of supplimenting my small companys income ,im looking for an extra income that is tree related but not dependant on the weather any ideas ?


after reading some other threads i guess parts of the USA are also experiencing a wetter climate as well..and aparently if global warming is to be beleived a lot of us are going to get wetter

try selling your stump removal/mulching as hard as you can.public notices flyer drop,at least you can get them done in between showers.wet weathewr/wind suck the big ones

how many days do you reckon you've lost due to weather this year?so far this year i think we've only had one complete wash out,sure it's rained but we've managed to squeeze smaller job's in at these time's.ahh the benefit of being stacked with work

ok this wont make you a millionaire but these planters sell well.
they're badly made, tacky, corny, and they fall apart...but i can sell them as fast as i make them for £15 a piece
and they only take 20 minutes to do

It rains here every other day here ,now we have tropical rains from bonnie and charlie coming. i feel for the people in florida,charlie is big hurricane . hope you florida boys make it ok.

wouldn't mind a big blow around theses parts we havent had a hurricane since 87...i could do with the extra shekel$ ..as long as everyone kept nice and safe

We usually get a pretty good thunder storm every after noon. Two weeks ago we got 4.5 inches in one hour. It flooded my porch and soaked through the sliding glass door and soaked my living room carpet. My wife called me all freaked out but I was on the south side of town and hadnt seen a drop. If this winter is like the summer has been I may wind up doing lots of snow removal for my tree customers and making lots of log furnature in my garage.
