Anybody have experience with Raisman bars? Green Dade Outdoor has Raisman bar and chain combos for $15 +/- a couple bucks depending on size/fit, and standard shipping is $10. So around $25 for bar and chain combos to your door.

Just ordered one for an 041 I'm fixing up. I didn't find a lot of info about them, but a quick search seems to indicate that they hold up well. Anybody here who has personal experience with them?

I have a 16” one on my 550xp. It’s alright, nothing spectacular but I’ve cut probably 30 full cords of wood with it and it’s still holding up—even the paint. Came on the saw; figured it would die quick and I’d replace it but so far I’ve been happy with it.

For as cheap as they are I’d say lasting for 30 cords worth of firewood is pretty spectacular.

Oh, I completely agree. It might even be more wood than that. I was feeding an outdoor wood boiler for a poorly insulated farmhouse for several years and that was my only saw. I was estimating 8-10 full cords a year. It cut a LOT of white ash then. Still does.
