Been away a while. I sold a nice 55 closed port a couple years ago, and since I missed it I just bought another 55, hoping to hit gold again. Well , it's very clean and piston looks good but it's an open-port saw.
I see HyWay 55 closed port rebuild kit on eBay and it shows the proper windowed piston. I've done some reading that they had been sending closed jugs with open pistons. Have they fixed this defect, or is this just photographic trickery?
