someone told me wd40 once but I think he was messing with me
Only thing to add is that Simple Green isn't good for aluminum (if you have Al wheels, for example) - it can cause pitting. Generally OK if you rinse it well quickly. I use Simple Green Pro HD on Al as it won't cause those problems.simple green is all I use, generally if its really bad I mix in a few cups to a 1 gallon garden sprayer and spray down what im cleaning, let it sit for 10 minutes or so then hose it off, even stuff like exhaust soot comes right off, also ZEP spray bottles with 50%% simple green, and spray it on for the tougher stuff
plus its 100% safe, no chemical burns and won't kill plants, unlike the super clean I won in a giveaway, stuff ruined one of my shirts and burned the back of my neck with a little overspray
never heard of simple green pro, gonna have to try that, thanks!Only thing to add is that Simple Green isn't good for aluminum (if you have Al wheels, for example) - it can cause pitting. Generally OK if you rinse it well quickly. I use Simple Green Pro HD on Al as it won't cause those problems.
unlike the super clean
I've never had an issue with it, although I don't use it in confined spaces oftenCastrol super clean is some pretty good stuff, but it is pretty noxious to inhale the fumes. I don't think it's a good idea to put through a pressure washer unless you were wearing a respirator. Pre-treat the greasy spots with the concentrate and you may prefer that to using simple green. Get a foaming wand attachment for distributing the soap around, regardless of which type you pick.
Best thing I've found for cleaning trucks is HEAT. Get a heating unit for your pressure washer and that will change everything.
Kinda pricey, but the difference in results from cold to hot water is amazing.

We wash a fair number of bank ATM driving lanes. 180° hot water turns a caked-on piece of gum from a 2 minute exercise in futility into a 5-10 second clean-and-done situation.
