I'm thinking it would be possible with alitte drilling to adapt a D007 bar to my super 754 ?

.404 sthil chipper chain , currently.98% probability it runs 7/16”.
Good luck finding enuf for a loop much less full skip.
Either way, 42” should be no problem.
Longest I have is 31”.
Had a similar problwm with my Pro 88. I converted it to a Homelite 1050 sprocket with some machined bushings. It almost beat me! But I got the clutch changed to a rim sprocket. View attachment 761021 View attachment 761020
Those wanting an alternative to 7/16” chain.

Way past my budget. [emoji2960]
That looks a lot like what I did to my Pro 88. I had the drum and clutch already. I used an aluminum/bronze alloy. It's quite hard and has held up well in other similar applications.I believe that there's a few used ones out there, I know I saw a parts seller online with a good used one but it didn't have the bronze bushing.
That is the exact one I just put on my super 754 and it is convenient. The budget for that saw was pretty flexible because of the fact I paid 25$ for the saw and it didn't require anything to run.
Wico. You B in luck. No Bendix-Scintilla crap coil.
I take it nothing looks out of order?Wico. You B in luck. No Bendix-Scintilla crap coil.

Doesn't look to be. FYI, coil timing is as simple as lining up the 2 legs of the lamination with the 2 marks on the case.
