Good job on the saw! I noticed an ad on the Richmond CL where a fellow was looking for big saws and mentioned a 990 as one he wanted. Had a Maryland phone number, glad you got it. Next time you come through Louisa, just drop it off.

I don't remember his screen name, but that guy is a member here. He runs an ad fairly frequently.

I don't make it through Louisa much, but every time I score a good deal on a saw I thank you for moving to Kentucky.

I would be very carefull cleaning that thing up. The paint on those is fragile.

Not rubbing, I am still surprised I lucked into it.

On the paint, it looks like ths one was repainted at least once. The red color scheme is definitely showing through, I don't know if the factory painted over the red or if it was done later.

If it makes you feel any better I missed out on a 5400 on a far away Craigslist, he didn't want to ship it. Asking price? $15.
