I have never been "down under"
however!!! I can't believe that when I created that diagram years ago, there is a typo in there... the Ohms values are in wrong with respect to the windings!! OMG !!!
I should cut, paste that into my machine and edit that!!! however, you get the general gist of the idea...
So what should they be? Just swapped?

I sharpened a couple .325 chains today on the USG at the store. Night and day difference! This machine can now produce a excellent tooth!!!
In fact I just might get me a USG for my shop now that I know that it can be reversed. My Oregon 511 has served me very well, but.... and it would make a nice raker grinder.

And my solution to the hand nut loosening when rotation direction is reversed.. Split the hand nut and make a clamping nut...works flawless.drill and tap first, then clearance drill through holes and counter bore for cap screw seats finally cut it exactly in half. Balance is perfect. Tighten to wheel, then tighten clamp screws. 1614573151120.png

Do you have any other pictures? This is exactly what I’m trying to do but trying to figure the wiring coming off my machine. I think I have it down but not 100%. Waiting for my switch.
