I have an old Homelite XL-102 that is in like new condition.

It has an Oregon rim sprocket.

Can I replace the 3/8 rim with a .325 rim ?? Or do they have different splines.

Reason I ask is that I have a new .325 bar & a new chain that will fit this saw.

I thought that switching over to .325 might give it a tad more grunt.

It came equipped with a 20" hardnose bar & 3/8 chain.

The new bar bar I have is an 18" .325 sprocket nose.
