River Birch

I had a nice size load of river birch dumped off by a tree service. I was wondering if is much good in a indoor stove. I have a lot of cherry, ash, osage orange, and locust to cut behind the house. If the birch is not that great I might try to sell it cheap. Might be good for an OWB. Thanks.

Actually it's one of the better burning hardwoods.

Either they screwed up or its a misprint, but they rate Apple as "medium" heat output and "fair" for firewood! Apple rocks...
