my biners line up like this....

Added the littl plastic eye to keep from side loading the williams biner

I keep a 12 ouncer on my right hip all the time. I just started that habit about a year ago. I'll never go back. I saw people do it before and thought, "man, what a waste. carrying around a pound of needless crap all the time." After giving it a good try, I am convinced it's well worth the weight.

And with the blaze, yes, you can throw further!

I did a quick skim of the responses to the setups so I might have missed something. If so, I apoligize.

There are some really scary setups pictured on this thread. Clipping snaps to snaps and multiple pieces to snaps is really bad! Too likely to dget the gates loaded. This is another example of arbos using gear without studying the manufacturers recommendations. I'd like to see where any manufacturer or vendor condones having more than one load on a snap.

Paolo steered me in a new path last year. When ever I attach more than one rope to a biner I go to an HMS or assymetrical biner. After talking to Denny Moorehouse about this for quite awhile he says the same thing. Better to have a slightly weaker biner with a load spread further away from the fragile gate.

Given the fact that Tom is pretty knowledgeable...........I may have to rethink this whole setup on what is printed above!!!

I didn't elaborate, but I said something roughly 23½ hours earlier than Tom did.

Treejunkie, you're okay with your setup.  But you don't really have the same "one disconnect/reconnect does it all" that is really the subject of the thread.

Alot of people have had the same concerns over my setup ,I did demonstrate a revised form at the ITCC and was granted approval for using the setupI will try and post a pic tomorrow ,although it is primarily the same as the pics in previous threads with the addition of a rubber bushing set in the captive eye to keep the second biner from moving around.Again I know that it is not perfect and it works fantastic for me until a better solution present itself.

Or this?

Why don't you guys refer to the pics in the original thread.

MB, I've found thoughts about the blake and they are only thoughts. Stop your hustling.
