Rollers on dogs of 372...where to get em??

Plus one 6mm bolt and a nut.

But i have a question.What is the use of the roller ?

They are for the chain, a safty feature.

bb.....are you talking about .....it's plastic, round, mounted on the inside of one dog, not the dog on the clutch cover the other one.


i just had to look.....my 385 and 395's have it to......are you talking about the chain catch?

sounds to me like a perfect example of a husky cutting the way a saw should and a stihl boy looking for a trick up it's sleeve so he could add it to his stihl.

the older husky's had an aluminum(sp) tad to catch the chain....the roller you speak of has been around a few years now. if it rolls you should tighten it up before it falls off

take a look at the older 372's and see if there is any chain catch on them......maybe the "roller" is missing from them.

That plastic roller is the chain catch as suggested by others.

BB- who cares, what is important is the big dogs, hard to buck or fall without them.
