Looks to be in good condition. Do you have all of the parts? I looked on Acres site too and agree with Jerry, 122SL.

Most of the parts. Missing cylinder, clutch cover and a few more parts. I plan on trading it for Stihl parts if anybody's interested.

Starter looks to me like a Dolmar 152, so i wood say Dolmar 152

Look for a partnumber in the inside off the starter ore in the airfilter cover
i think it will tell you R144.and the rest.

Looks like old new parts to me,from stock.??
because there's now serienumber stamped in.

The number inside the starter starts with R122.

It's definitely a 122SL. Covers match up and same bore.

Unknown sachs dolmar saw

I posted this in the chainsaw thread yesterday, probably better posted here:

Hi all, I'm new to this site, but want help with deciding whether or not to buy a chainsaw being offered to me (pics attached hopefully). It is Sachs Dolmar, over 10 years old, and I can't see where it states what model it is. I'd like to know what it is, whether its worth owning (quality), how many cc's (cause I do a lot of milling), what it might be worth and whether I am likely to get parts for it. So far I am impressed that it started after 10 years of zero use after simply changing the fuel! Very smoky though. Any other comments?? Thanks View attachment 220266View attachment 220267

I am not sure, but it looks like it might be one of the bigger ones, looks like there might be a Mac version of it somewhere. Not much help but it looks like you have a good find. It won't take long for one of the Dolmar gurus to help you out, I am pretty new to the older Dolmars but they are excellent saws with all kinds of power and grunt. I have a theory on which saw you have but I can't be positive so I won't mislead you, I am much more familiar with the newer ones.

Boy that thing reminds me a lot of a 166 though, if that's what it is you are one lucky dude. If it is a 166 it is the Mac-Daddy of Sachs-Dolmar saws. Like I said before, not for sure but boy it looks like one to me.
