Bought this 40cc Jonsered 2041 turbo (same as Husky 40) for $40 and it seemed to be in good condition except for missing parts, the chain brake handle, top cover, left half of rear handle and the rear AV mount. Saw was a victim of a high school shop class that attempted to repair it. Only thing wrong with it was a seized ring and some minor scoring of the piston with some aluminum transfer to the cylinder, both of which cleaned up nicely and the ring end gap indicated there was very little wear on the engine. Lots of carbon build up and the muffler oozed black goo from running too rich. Couldn't find a brake handle so I made one but CHAINSAWR supplied the other parts for a reasonable price of $27. Crazy shipping cost from US post/Canada post was $29 and all this was in US funds so by the time it was converted to Canadian the cost went up to 79 loonies. I now have a saw that cost $119 that I might be able to sell for $100 at the most. Still good entertainment. Wood to test it on is under 3' of snow so it could take awhile.
