Just bought 2 new ones today to round out my new adventure. Been out of the tree care biz for a bit. But local markets and fortunes have me back in it again. My saw list is an echo 330t, a redmax gz360, a husky 550 & 395, plus a hydro pole saw. I work out of a 60 altec bucket doing mostly removals. What are yall running, and should I add a 70 cc to the selection?

Thats something only you can answer. How many saws can you afford? Do you have need of another large saw? For years I got by with a 16" 261 and a 24" 038 Magnum. Anything that those two couldn't handle ceased to be my problem....

I'd get the 2511t over the 330t. Around here mainly doing oak removals it's your top handle of choice then a 70cc saw. Plus 1 big saw (661/395) and some like a 50cc before the 70cc goes up. Stihl 462 may be the king in my book for a in tree saw but I got huskys/bars so no stihls/462 in my near future.
562 W/ muff mod pulls 24" full skip just fine so I'm in pretty good shape. Ported 272 w/ 28" full skip finishes what 562 24" doesn't.

The 330t is a left over from when I started climbing. Its underpowered, but dependable. Handy when you just want a small saw. The gz360 is intended to be my bucket buddy.
