Looks like the op could have a cp (though most likely not), I still can't tell from the pics, looks maybe slightly different to anything I have, lol.

Usually the easiest way to spot a cp is the 51cc designation (as opposed to 53cc) on the label.

But some labels are not marked, this one is op.

Next, the really sure thing that's visible without any dis-assembly is the +'s on the clutch side upper transfer (as well as the much more pronounced bulge).

Similar view on an op.

Better view without clutch cover, unfortunately I don't have a cp cylinder not on a saw.

Maxed out number of pics per post, continued to next post...

I believe the closed port is on the right and is also what the OP has.

Need to correct myself due to exploring several 55's in a box I paid 30 bux for last summer and haven't gotten around to messin' with until this thread raised my curiosity.

Well whaddya, know? Found a closed port top end on one of em that only has a little scuffing on the intake side!

WoooooHooooo!!!

Have a near mint case and plastics that'll make a good home for it, too.

A good day for Pogo thanks to you guys! And I thought I already had a good week scoring a nice 51 for 35 bux....silly me!
