These cases can go either way, what clears in one state may not in another. I wouldn't risk it.
That Ohio case set president. 3 courts to side with the land owner sends a clear message as well. I mean, in honesty my mail box post is a 2" square tube, but when it rots out I have some 6" schedule 80 that will replace it. The tube is cause of the snow plows taking it out every year. Gets old quick. The state and township even send us letter telling us how they are not responsible for mailboxes getting taken out by snow off the plow..... can't have it both ways.
16 or 20' ceiling? 😁
Wall height is currently 12 foot, but dad and I were talking about adding 2 foot extensions already. I'm not holding my breath for that. after it's up, there will be a 10-14 foot lean to added off the one side to house wood. Where the shop is going up, it sits about 3 feet higher then the yard. So plan is to build a little retention wall, then add about a foot of stone, pour a pad then build the lean to. I'm hoping to also put an owb in the lean to section to heat the shop, and pump it into the house. Would really be awesome to get the wood furnace oit of the house, get something with central air and a heat exchanger.
Dude!🤦 They are not a**less chaps!🤷 They are bad a** less chaps! ☠️
🤣🤣😉
Fixed.....😁

Yeah @sean donato , I quit answering her questions. This lady is nosy as can be. I had originally told her they were coming down for a shed. I know I didn’t need to answer that and probably shouldn’t have but then she wants to know how big of a shed and where am I putting it! Haha, people shock me. I’m not telling her or asking anything from here on out. I’ll get my permit and install my shed, She won’t like it either way. Pretty set on the 14x24 setup with a 10x8 garage door for the tractor. 14 is a good bit more money vs 12 wide but I think the extra width will be nice for having the other machines next to the tractor.
Dont know how big a tractor you got, but a 8ft high door might not be tall enough if your traxtor has rops. i have to keep my roll bar down to put my tractor inside my shop with the 8ft high door.

The steel foe the shop showed up today. My uncle is going to bring it up some time tomorrow.
Today was fix the not broken vw diesel day. Bigger turbo, new intake, exhaust, fuel pump (add on in tank lift pump from a newer car.) 2.5" stainless exhaust. (Thats about half done. Injectors still need to have nozzles swapped and pop tested. Which I hope to do tomorrow after the exhaust is all welded up. Oh yeah, got the 3in 1 purometer, boost and fuel pressure gauges wired up this morning as well. Just need to tidy up some of the wires, and add some glue to the grommet to seal it up good.
Good or bad depending on how you look at it, the car was an automatic at one point. Good, because they came with a bigger injection pump, bad because I'm gonna have to do some more wiring to get my cruise control to work.

Got a little bit of wood split today...I spent more time looking for my phone than I did splitting. Turns out it fell in one of the last remaining patches of snow. The oak is kinda rotten, so it's a lot splitting out the punky parts. Can you believe I actually climbed this rotten tree? Needless to say, I took the weight off of it a little bit at a time.

BTW, I was noodling the rounds with my only "quiet" saw, I was a good neighbor today.🤣

Well I was a horrible neighbor today then!! It was big Mac time on a 32"er!!
I don't have any quiet saws that would handle this sappy junk! I had to stay all over the manual oiler and the auto it set pretty rich already .

I think it just settled and turned into snowpack, maybe a little melt. It almost looks like tracks. The spacing is close, but not well defined. It could just be families playing in the snow.
Ok…so, what’s your excuse? 🤣🤣

G'day fellers,

I know they say "Never go back". Well I did. And it was not so good. I knew that it was going to get difficult with the suspension of the log and spongy junk (sticks/plants etc) underneath making it difficult to prop up.

Anyway. It was laborious but I got most of a ute load out of it. Not OVERLOADED and the trailer was unbothered but it was something and I'm told that something is better than nothing. Certainly, the $10 of mix and diesel I probably burned is better than the $50 of electrickery I would use in the reverse cycles, plus the benefit of free exercise.

I'm going to scrounge the burn piles at Mitch's farm tomorrow. He says he is going to push over a few trees that need to go so I'm looking forward to that.

Scrounge on

Looks like it split really nice. What do you use for that?

Got a woodcutter helping me out this week.
Bucket list kind of woodlot improvement stuff with a heap of firewood for the next few years. Knocking down bad trees, trail maintenance and cut a food plot out for a bowhunter and Bambi. Also clearing a small spot for a camper on a hill with a view of the pond among the tall oaks.
Only one thing, you can't get there from here, go figure. ;)

Side note on mailbox posts. Intent is the word, if the post is there to do damage to anyone/anything hitting it and the person blabbed on the 'hinternet' how they wanted to screw up the driver's car for hitting the post, tsk, tsk, tsk.
Does the carma run over the dogma?

Mine will fit under an 8, it won’t under the 7 on my house so I’ve never had the rops up.

Finished splitting most of the ash with the Fiskars. The rest will be split by the woodsplitter.View attachment 1072227
I don't know why my phone has been taking crap pictures. They're all blurry. Might be time for a new one.
Must be shakes from all the excitement of a great scrounge.
