Today's splitting fun. First photo is what my splitting area pile looked like when I started this morning. The second photo is what it looked like when I finished. Also out in the far back of the pile right side is a pile I split and quartered.
Knees are fixable these days.My knees are. Plus, getting to Montana isn't cheap anymore.
I need a (couple) knee replacements but posts like this spook me.They’re fixable, but in my observation it’s 50/50 on wether the rehab is fun or miserable
My pops and my BFF mom- miserable
My BFF dad and guy at work- no problems
They do, I've turned a good number of guys onto them. They work
Welcome if it was me .I just meant the wood hauler packed with firewood! There fixed it.
Lots of nice color in the back of that Stang!
Yes they do. Thank you whoever shared that link a few months ago. I now have them for 4 of my saws.
It’s a crap shoot, my best buddyI need a (couple) knee replacements but posts like this spook me.
If you looked closely, you can still see the metal in the rock where the old fire tower was attached. Too bad they removed that one, it would have been a nice view.Camped out on Anthony's nose. In the right nostril...*ba dum ching*
I presume before you crossed the river you also went up the Memorial stone tower on Perkins Drive?Camped out on Anthony's nose. In the right nostril...*ba dum ching*
Compression release.
100% correct on the Stamina comment
Ever since the Rona, I still have strength, but nowhere near the stamina. I was about GASSED OUT after loading the truck the last two days.
Embarrassing!!
I used to be able to go full throttle for 8hrs, now I’m a chump
My pop told me to hit the treadmill to get my wind back, I should really give it a honest try
Last night I was out splitting rounds after work. Started off with the fiskers x27 and the iso core for the tougher stuff. I petered out pretty quickly and switched to the splitter. The kids are still too little to help and my wife was "busy." I'd bet I got ~1/2 cord split. Kinda looked at the pile of splits after i was done and stacking and thought I did a good job.
After reading this mornings posts, in reflection I didn't get near as much done as I used to. Rona didn't really get me, it was the heat stroke I had 5 years ago. I've never been 100% since it. Heck an 80* day about knocks the wind out of my sails. Getting older sucks lol. I hope when I'm 60 I'll still be able to heat with wood and get around like some of you older fellas.
The worst part is going down a steep incline , with a pack for me ,for a couple miles, I’d much rather go up , especially in the White Mts , those trails can be brutal, ur just hopping from rock to rock a lot times,My knees are. Plus, getting to Montana isn't cheap anymore.
I'll use them as I like the less stress on my shoulders. My best dealer here said he does not recommend using that and I never have used it on the 362. I do have to use it on the MS441.
I had no issues with my replacement. I know a few others that had no issues. I do know one woman that didn't follow what she was told to do and had issues with scar tissue. I pushed my left knee to the limit and beyond during rehab. Having that done was the best thing that ever happened to me. It sure is better than walking bone on bone. They’re fixable, but in my observation it’s 50/50 on wether the rehab is fun or miserable

Go for it and do your rehab. The people that had issues after surgery didn't work hard enough to break the scar tissue. That is the main reason for the horror stories.I need a (couple) knee replacements but posts like this spook me.
I wish you would stop saying that. That is not ALWAYS the case. It's offensive and I'm done talking about that with you.Go for it and do your rehab. The people that had issues after surgery didn't work hard enough to break the scar tissue. That is the main reason for the horror stories.

Those pesky humans, they really annoy me too .Yeah, we aren’t perfect as we are run by humans
So what, then tell him to come start the saw for you. I don't recommend using them, or even having them on saws, but if it's what it takes, then that's just part of the risk/cost factor involved. Or you could go buy a newer easy-start saw, they actually work quite well.My best dealer here said he does not recommend using that and I never have used it on the 362.
