Show off (lol). Seriously, if I would have made it out to the log yard earlier one week, I might have scored a small undercarriage like that. Would have been perfect hauling logs to a mill. But it got all smashed up when they pushed it on a pile.

Most of our wood is cut on our property. My tractor with forks or stump grapple bucket usually does most of the moving over to my cutting and splitting area. When picking up wood off the property I use my RAM 2500 and if needed, an 18 foot equipment trailer. As for this year, I think my woodburning is over as of almost 2 weeks ago. It is just too warm to have a fire going.

Seems it's a bad idea to turn around in someone's dark private road on a dark and rainy night... This is especially true when you miss the private road and end up in the 4-5 foot deep drainage ditch next to the highway. Photo courtesy of my son... it happened at the end of my family's private road last evening. It looks like an expensive winch and tow job and there is likely damage to the vehicle... The private road goes up the hill to the left of the Durango. Just to the left is where I had to cut all the trees last summer to have the utility pole replaced.

Co worker asked me a while ago if I'd look at two of his saw for him. Finally got them the other day. Had a bit of time to mess with them. I'm pretty sure the 450 rancher needs a coil. Fires up very nicely and idles great. Won't rev up to save its arse. No amount of jet adjustments make I difference till its so pig rich it won't run. Stopped by the one dealer on my way home from getting my daughter. Dang guy didn't have one on hand, but said he could have one early next week. $28.00 + tax. Didn't think thay was too bad.
messed with the 345 this evening. Was pretty apparent after I looked at it it was the one leaking fuel all over my trunk. Return line to the tank was replaced with tygon at some point and it broke off the tank fitting. Replaced that with some good stihl fuel line, purge bulb was cracked up pretty bad as well. Had one of those on hand by dumb luck. Fitted it up and tried the saw. Fired up 3rd pull and ran pretty well. Adjusted the carb to bring the idle down a bit and went to test it out. Didn't do too bad for its size. Won't win a race, but did ok with the 16" bar on it. I'll hand that back to him tomorrow. I'm sure he'll be happy to have one of them back.

So we got news late in the day that the company is reversing the crew splits until further notice. We weren't given a reason, and as of this morning it was still in full effect. My best guess is the back lash finally got to upper management and they had to step in. Time will tell I guess. Definatly made my life easier as far as not having to work so much of the late shift.

I don’t do a full gallon, I fill my jug when the pump says .8View attachment 1158937
That's the way I do it, way easier.
I use old 2 gallon or 2.5 gallon mix bottles and refill them with 5.2oz maxima k2 and then add 1.6 or 1.8 gallons.
Yeah, that's for sure. Reminds me of my middle boy when he was about 3. Never saw a kid get so hangry.:crazy2:
I was told by my mom I used to hold my breath til I passed out, I don't believe her lol.

Forgot what this was, will reply to it shortly.
If my math, maths, it makes it 40:1
Yuisgud@maths!
They disabled my account a few years ago after it got taken over. Some scumbag was using my credit card to buy advertisements on FB. I had to open up a new account. I was pissed.

On another note I saw a Mass license plate today that said ZIGZAP. I would have taken a picture of it but the guy was doing 65 while I was doing 75 keeping up with traffic.
Saw this the other day, I guess I was driving a stihl, as I passed him 😆.

10 hp goes well with 16 gpm (my subaru is rated for 9hp i think).
I think 12 hp for a 20 gpm and 15 for a 28gpm. All running 3k psi relief. Biggest hp hog is when they change over from high displacement low pressure to low displacement high pressure. Usually thats between 700-900 psi. Lower relief pressure means less hp is needed. Never hurts to have a bigger engine then needed, it just doesn't work as hard. I have a 20hp kohler sitting here to go on a 28gpm pump for log splitter 2.0. Should work just fine. Possibly use a bit more gas then running a 15/16 hp engine. But I got a really good deal on the engine. (Tapered crank for a generator application.) Couldn't pass it up.
I want to build one too(larger kohler and a 28gal pump), we need to come up with a plan for one and have @U&A lay it all out for use, then we can all build one.
Good morning guys.

The Facebook saga came to an end last night.

I was finally able to get into my account login through my browser on my phone. Don’t know why it worked after failing so many times, but I got in there and was able to set up two factor authentication so I won’t have this issue again until the election.
Fixed it.
I picked up a bunch right before the covid price skyrocket! View attachment 1159817
Nice, hope that's not all ;).
But don't respond!
I guess i am the boring one in the crowd i only got .22LR, 32 and 30-06 i got plenty but would like to find a few boxes of each for a reasonable price specially 32's they are really difficult to find!
How many you want? What specifically are you looking for, personal protection or practice?

AR-10
I’d rather a FN FAL myself

But, to each their own

If I would have known what bulk ammo would cost now, I would have stacked it a lot deeper 8 years ago. Still have some 5.56 range trash marked $0.13 each. We're over double that now. Pathetic.
Just double, maybe it's been a while since you bought anything, steel will cost three times that.
Having built more AR's than I can count and using PSA parts in more than half I can say that their Milspec Parts are very well built.
That's what everyone I know says. Besides, how many rnds is a guy gonna put thru a 308.

Log splitter 2.0 I hope to be more mini processor then splitter when it's done. Biggest debate I have is weather i want to cut the wood on the splitter or keep with the log lift like I have now... priority is pretty low though. Have a shop to finish and a truck to rebuild first.

Shoot I haven't bought any bulk ammo since I left the township so almost 4 years now. Pretty well stocked up yet, and I don't have the time to spend every other Friday at the range. Any of my hunting ammo I've been hand loading. Even thays taking pretty much of a back burner as I can't hardly get off during hunting buck season.

Oh yeah, that video lol.
I missed it when he put it out, but watched it Tuesday, not much in there I needed, lots of talking and hand movements lol.
Maxima K2 for the win 🏆.
My local saw guru takes very good notes with everything he tears down as far as brand and mix ratio. He said this stuff would be good to go at 40:1. Dump it in the can, add 2 gallons of gas and go.

I want a faster splitter with a lift and maybe a 4-way.
Also I want to make it self propelled, but also to be able to tow if needed.

Been considering joining a club that's not too far away, just need to get a bunch of projects done lol.
But then I'd be able to let loose a bit more than here at the house.

To much spooch , Lol 😆 Motul rules ,just like El Chapo ,😆😆😆
Yeah, he's a talker for sure, but I do listen.
Not much talking, but I did get to smell a bit of K2 :sweet:.

I've been considering it, the K2 has gotten a bit expensive. But, if it works, is it really expensive.
